About Us

Our vision is to be a lifelong financial partner to our members and to our community. This vision will be accomplished through education, quality Member Service, and technology. Financial strength will be maintained while providing the highest level of Member Service to our members and the community.

Riverside FCU was organized in 1941 by a group of employees at the Tonawanda Engine Plant. These employees were interested in creating a place where they and their fellow employees could save and borrow money safely, confidentially and at a fair rate of interest. In 1942, Riverside was officially chartered as a credit union. 75 years later, Riverside FCU is proud to serve many members throughout Erie County today.

Working for you, not for profits. We provide more friendly, personalized service than a traditional bank, but with the same convenience you expect like free checking and accessible ATMs with no surcharges. Riverside offers better rates on loans and higher yields on savings. One more thing – your funds are federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, making a credit union a safer option.

As of March 2017, Riverside FCU was granted a Community Charter meaning if you live, work, or worship in Erie County you are eligible for membership. So if you’re looking for a car loan, home equity loan, personal loan, home improvement loan, student loan, or anything else you can think of, stop in and talk with our professionals today.
